The 13U Seadogs continued their preparation for their Cooperstown trip by winning three times over the weekend.

Seadogs 16, Team Mizuno 3

Drew Alexopoulos (Hanson) pitched a complete game three-hitter while a seven run seventh created the final score. Brian Panasuk (East Bridgewater), Chris Ferraro (Norwell), Cam Morrissey (East Bridgewater), Patrick Rafferty (Kingston) and Tommy Gillan (Scituate) all had two hits in the attack.

Seadogs 12, Team Mizuno 2

Trevor Cooley (Randolph) fanned eight batters over five innings and added a single and a double of his own in game two. Panasuk (3 for 4) added two triples and four RBI’s while Ferraro and Robert Carmody (Canton) each added a pair of hits.

 

Seadogs 10, Hanover Indians 9

The Seadogs got homeruns from Chris Ferraro and Trevor Cooley as they barely outlasted the Indians in a slugfest. Cooley and Andrew Glynn (Whitman) each collected three hits.

 

11U BLUE

Seadogs 4, Mizuno BLACK 12′s 2

Gavyn White (Rockland) pitched a gem (5 IP, 2 H, 4 K’s) to get the win. TJ Keefe’s (Weymouth) two-out, two run single in the fifth was the decisive blow. Zack Bouhov (Weymouth) closed it out in the sixth for the save. Bouhov also chipped in with two doubles.

Seadogs 6, Team Mizuno BLACK 2

Andrew Giovanetti (Weymouth) was the winning pitcher with relief help from Zack Bouhov (save). The Dogs made the most of just three hits. Alex Kennedy (Weymouth) had two hits, scored two runs and stole four bases.

 

14U BLUE

Seadogs 5, Bristol County Eagles 4 (8 innings)

Steve Cochrane (Hingham) worked a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the eighth in a true “walk off” win. It was the Seadogs only lead of the game. Mason Johnson (Norwell) and David Hutchins (Hingham) both had two hits and an RBI while Chris DeGiacomo (Norwell) got the win in relief.

Seadogs 11, Bristol County Eagles 5

Chris DeGiacomo (3 for 4, double, triple, 2 RBI, 3 runs) led the attack. Robbie Robinson (Taunton) added two hits and a double. Matt Cunningham (Weymouth) doubled and drove in two while Steve Cochrane got the win with six strong innings.
