12U GOLD

The 12U GOLDS swept a pair on Saturday against the Weymouth Wildcats.

Seadogs 8, Wildcats 2

A five run fifth inning , keyed by RBI hits from Brian Carney (Braintree) and Mike Knell (Dennisport) broke open a close game. Nate Curley (Readville) added a double and was outstanding at shortstop. Starter Knell (4 IP, 6 K’s) went four strong before Kylar Macoratti (Sagamore) tossed two scoreless innings of relief.

Seadogs 10, Wildcats 2

A Mike Knell two-run homer led the way in a five run first as the Dogs cruised behind starter Nate Curley (5 IP, 5 K’s). Peter Lagrotteria (Scituate) had two hits while seven other Seadogs added hits to the attack. Francis Kokoros (Braintree) closed things out with a hitless inning.

 

 

11U BLUE

The 11U BLUES topped the Hit Doctor Diamonds twice on Saturday and Plymouth in a single game on Sunday.

Seadogs 11, Hit Doctor Diamonds 4

Kyle Sylvester (Hanover) had two hits and two RBI while Matt Hatfield (Hingham) and Will Spring (Weymouth) both scored three times. Spring added an RBI triple.

Seadogs 5, Hit Doctor Diamonds 2

Zack Bouhov (Weymouth) spun a complete game four hitter in game two. Back to back singles from Bouhov and Gavyn White (Rockland) in the third inning were followed by RBI’s from James Duffy (Canton), Will Breadmore (Rockland) and Alex Kennedy (Weymouth). The Seadogs took full advantage as they were limited to just five hits.

 

Seadogs 9, Plymouth 3

Gavyn White had two hits and three stolen bases. Kennedy, Spring and Bouhov each scored a pair of runs as the Seadogs used nine different hurlers in this nine inning non-league outing.

 

 

13U

The 13U squad battled hard all day Saturday at Strong Field and were rewarded with their first NEBA win in game two against the Lightning.

Lightning 11, Seadogs 6

The relentless Lightning offense broke open a 6-6 tie with two in the sixth and three more in the seventh to win the opener. Seadog starter Ryan Duffey (Duxbury) pitched well over the first four and also added a pair of hits.Trevor Cooley (Randolph) had a single and a double for the Dogs.

Seadogs 6, Lighning 5

Ace Trevor Cooley (7 IP, 1 ER, 8 K’s) went the distance, fanning the final hitter with the tying run on second. The Seadogs fought back from a 5-2 deficit in a four run fourth keyed by a Cooley double followed by a two-run double by Brian Panasuk (East Bridgewater) and an RBI single from Chris Ferraro (Norwell). Mike Pasini (Scituate) made two long running catches in centerfield that preserved the victory.

 

 

 

 

14 GOLD

Cape Cod Bucaneers 13, Seadogs 10

After falling behind 9-2 after four innings, the Seadogs put together a rally over the final three innings, but fell short.  Tommy Larason (Norwell) went 3-for-4 with a triple and scored four times while Casey Rasak (Kingston), Nick Chapman (Easton) and Kyle Lussier (Hingham) each had a pair of hits.

Seadogs 12, Cape Cod Bucaneers 6

Casey Rasak (Kingston) threw four innings of seven strike out/one-hit relief in the nightcap while doing some serious mashing at the plate going 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles as the ‘Dogs gained the split.  Mason Johnson (Norwell) had a three hit day, Alex Greco (Hingham), Davis Goode (Hingham) and Kyle Lussier each had a pair of knocks and Tommy Larason again scored four times.

 

 

 

10U BLUE

On Sunday the 10U BLUES split a doubleheader with the RI Rays

Seadogs 11, RI Rays 8

John Tellier (Braintree) came on in relief and pitched four strong innings to record the win. Quentin Woolf (Norwell) executed a perfect sacrifice bunt to give the Seadogs the lead and eventual victory.


RI Rays 10, Seadogs 8

Walks and missed opportunities cost the 10 BLUE a sweep, leading 8-7 heading into the final inning the Rays pushed across 3 runs to earn the split.

The 10 BLUE stands at 7-3 with a Divisional record of 2-2

 

 

11U BLUE

 

Seadogs 7, Atlantic Mariners 6

James Sneyd (Scituate) got the win in a complete game effort as James Conley (Milton) scored on a bases loaded walk to TJ Mullen (Hingham) in the bottom of the sixth. The Dogs fought back from a 6-3 deficit for their first win of the season. James Long (Milton) had a pair of hits while Conley, Will Keohane (Hingham) and Sam Edge (Weymouth) all contributed hits.

Atlantic Mariners 11, Seadogs 10

Sam Edge tossed three strong innings and departed with an 8-3 lead but the Mariners battled back to win. Will Keohane and James Conley had two hits each for the Seadogs while Jack Garvey (Braintree) and James Sneyd each chimed in with basehits.

 

Quincy Redstockings 10, Seadogs 0

Defensive efforts from Anthony Doherty (Marshfield), Reid Walsh (Brookline) and Chris Durante (Scituate) were the Seadogs highlights.

Quincy Redstockings 5, Seadogs 3

Will Keohane pitched five plus innings of gutsy baseball in defeat. Chris Durante tossed the final two innings as both southpaws showed promise.
