After dropping the opener of a four game NEBA weekend series with the USA Mavericks, the 13U BLUES won the final three.
USA Mavericks 10, Seadogs 4
The Seadogs were overly generous hosts in the first of the four game weekend series with USA Mavericks committing five errors and contributing six wild pitches and/or passed balls to the visitor’s cause. Mason Johnson (3 for 4, double) and Matt Cunningham (2 for 2, double) led the offense for the ‘Dogs.
Seadogs 14, USA Mavericks 10

South Coast Shamrocks 6, Seadogs 3
Mike Reilly pitched a complete game and was a hard luck loser in a game where Seadog bats were largely neutralized by good pitching by the Shamrock starter. Reilly walked only one, struck out seven and got one of the five Seadog hits on the afternoon.
South Coast Kings 5, Seadogs 2
Griffin Burke and Eliot Hillstrand split the pitching duties and held the Kings to five runs in a game that always seemed within the grasp of the Seadogs. Trent Cooley was white hot at the plate with a triple and two hard hit singles. Shane Curran continues to provide great offense with another multi-hit game.
South Coast Kings 9, Seadogs 8
Cole Roland pitched a gutsy 6 innings in a game eventually decided in the seventh on diving “do or die” defensive play that the Seadogs just missed converting. Charlie Auditore made a huge impact with his leather, his bat and his speed – collecting two hits, 4 stolen bases and two runs scored. Shane Curran and Trent Cooley were again tough outs collecting another two hits apiece.
The Dogs dropped four straight to the iron of the Super Division South.
Royals Academy 8, Seadogs 2
The Royals combined three walks and a pair of hits in a three run first and never looked back behind the solid pitching of Bryan Dwyer. The Seadogs mustered just two hits, one an RBI double from Trevor Cooley.
Royals Academy 7, Seadogs 3
Again the Royals combined solid pitching and defense to limit the Seadogs scoring opportunities. Drew Alexopoulos had two of the five Seadogs hits. Cooley added another RBI double.
RI Rays 7, Seadogs 0
The Dogs were limited to just two hits this time as the Rays played errorless baseball. The deficit was 2-0 until the Rays put together a five run fifth. Trevor Cooley pitched well in defeat.
RI Rays 6, Seadogs 3
The Dogs offense showed some signs of life with seven hits. Jared Hamilton’s RBI single in the fourth plated the first run of the day. He later scored on a wild pitch. Justin Fein added an RBI double in the fifth.
