10U BLUE
Seadogs 6, Boston Junior Rams 3
Tthe Seadogs once again used the combination of ace Kyle Sylvester (4 IP, 3 H, 4 K’s) and the closer Kayden McSheffrey (2 IP, 3 K’s). At the plate Luke Murphy and Quentin Wolf had RBI singles, and James Sneyd, Sean Feehily and James Dolan added singles for the Seadogs.
Boston Junior Rams 7, Seadogs 3
Luke Murphy had two hits while Sylvester, Dolan and Jack Clougherty all had singles.
10U GOLD
Seadogs 8, Hit Doctor Diamonds WHITE 1
Patrick Tevenan (win, 3 IP, 0 H) and Andrew Clark combined on a one -hitter. Clark also had three hits including an RBI triple. Alex Kennedy added two hits and a ribbie.
Wayland Blazers 6, Seadogs 5
Noah Goldberg gave the Seadogs a 5-4 lead with a three run double in the bottom of the fifth before the Wayland Blazers answered with two of their own in the top of the sixth for the victory. Alex Kennedy continued his hot hitting with a single and a double and three RBI.
14U BLUE
The 14U BLUES won three times over the weekend.
Seadogs 5, Mass Pride 0
Ethan Forrest pitched a complete game shutout with seven strikeouts and only 87 pitches, scattering six hits and only walking one. Ricky Smith was 2-4 with an RBI triple, 2 runs scored, and a steal. Ryan Jones was 3-3 with a double.
Seadogs 7, Mass Pride 6
Brendan Collins’ 1-out RBI single in the bottom of the seventh plated Drew Delpidio with the winning run as the Dogs battled back all game. Ryan Jones, Joe Walsh and Brendan Pierce each provided a couple innings on the mound in the combined, eight hit effort. Matt Barry (2-3, 2 runs, RBI) led the attack..
Seadogs 7, USA Mavericks 5
The Seadogs beat the Mavericks in a very well played 9-inning game. Matt Barry (7 IP, 8K’s, 2 ER) remained undefeated on the mound for the season. James Lawless earned the save in the final 2 innings. Steve Gerhart (1-3, 2 BB’s, 2 runs, 3 SB’s), Andrew Scheim (2-5, double, long triple), Brendan Collins (2-5, double, run) led the way. James Lawless also executed a nice suicide squeeze in the top of the 8th, plating Ethan Forrest, to provide some needed insurance.

South Coast Shamrocks 6, Seadogs 3
The Shamrocks scored four times in the fifth to pull away in the opener at Ted Williams Camp in Lakeville. Derek Bauer homered for the Seadogs.
South Coast Shamrocks 13, Seadogs 11
The Dogs pounded their way to an early lead but could not hold on despite a solid pitching performance from Chris LeClair.
Seadogs 11, Mass Pride 4
Winning pitcher Evan Flanagan fanned nine over five dominant innings and helped his cause with three hits in Sunday’s opener at West Bridgewater High School. Rob Madden had two hits including a circuit clout. Drew Saltmarsh also added three hits while Nolan Drsicoll added two of his own.
Seadogs 6, Mass Pride 5
Rob Madden’s second homerun of the day with a man aboard in the sixth gave the Dogs their first lead as they held on to conclude the sweep. Sean McWade was the winning pitcher in relief. A two run double by Flangan in the fifth was followed by an RBI triple by McWade and a sacrifice fly by Danny White to pull the Dogs within one to lead up to Madden’s heroics. With one out and the tying run on in the seventh, leftfielder Flanagan made an over the shoulder grab before spinning and doubling the runner off first to end the game in dramatic style.

17U Firebirds 10, Seadogs 7
After spotting the Firebirds six runs in the top of the first the Seadogs kept battling back all game. Anthong Capuano and Clint Bylo did well in relief to allow the Seadogs the chance to stay in the game. Ryan Tufts (1-2, RBI triple, 2 BBs 2 runs) was impressive in his Seadog debut to go along with Matt Connolly (3-4, 2 RBI) and Tom Landry (2-4, 2B, 2 runs) . Chris Dillon also chipped in with an RBI single.
17U Firebirds 4, Seadogs 2
Luke McDonough pitched well in a complete game effort. Luke battled through some tough jams having allowed 11 hits and 3 BBs but came up big in a lot of tough jams. The Seadogs jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the 1st and the Firebirds chipped away for the rest of the game before they scored the two winning runs in the bottom of the 6th. Matt Connolly and Brendan King each had RBI in the 1st but the Firebird pitching did not allow a hit the rest of the way.
Seadogs 16, 17U JM Force 11
Eight runs in the first two innings gave Brendan King his second win of the young season. Dave Podurgiel (4 for 5, 3 doubles, 3 runs) led the way from the leadoff spot. Anthony Capuano (2 for 3, 2 RBI, double, SB), Matt Connolly (2 for 3, triple), Stephan White (2 for 5, 3 runs, RBI) and Luke McDonough (2 for 4, double, RBI) were the Dogs heavy hitters.
14U GOLD
South Shore Hurricanes 10, Seadogs 8
The Hurricanes came out on top in a well played, back and forth nine inning game at Rockland Stadium on Saturday. Brendan Chernicki was the Seadog offensive star with a three for four, two RBI effort. Matt Brazel and John Carlson each chimed in with a pair of hits.
13U BLUE
Team Mizuno 15, Seadogs 14
Down 8-1 after two innings, the Seadogs battled back to lead 13-12 after seven, but couldn’t maintain their slim edge. Nick Chapman drove in three of the ‘Dogs runs with a 2-for-3 day…Tommy Larason, Mason Johnson and Steve Cochrane each accounted for two ribbies and Robbie Robinson had a pair of hits and scored three times in the loss.
