2010 Winter Indoor Rookie League

 

The SSBC's Rookie League is designed for youngsters 5 to 7 with little or no previous experience in organized athletics.

The SSBC staff of professional coaches emphasizes basics and fundamentals as well as safety and sportsmanship.

Each youngster receives one hour of instruction one day each week and then plays in a one hour game on Thursdays for four weeks. Practices and games are scheduled to fit in with your kindergarten schedule. Practices are held on Mondays and Tuesdays at either 9:30 AM or 1:00 PM. Choose your practice time based on your school schedule. Games will be played on Thursdays. Each group is filled on a first come basis.

The Rookie League is held four other times each year; indoors in April/May, outdoors in June, outdoors in September and indoors in November.

You will choose from the following practice time

       Monday 9:30 AM        Tuesday 9:30 AM        

       Monday 1:00 PM        Tuesday 1:00 PM        

Features:

• Remember- Your practice time will remain the same for the four week period. Game times may vary.
• All players will receive a T-shirt and a hat.
• The ball will be pitched. No hitting off a tee
• The SSBC staff will include: Jason Trask and Jack Larkin

COST:$130 per Player ($100 if any family member is current SSBC Member) MC and VISA accepted.
