Indoor Rookie League

The SSBC's Rookie League is designed for youngsters with little previous experience in organized athletics.

The SSBC staff of professional coaches emphasizes basics and fundamentals as well as safety and sportsmanship.

Each youngster receives two hours of instruction each week opposite their school schedule. The four week program will include a team practice on either Monday or Tuesday with a game on Thursday or Friday. Your practice time will stay the same while your game time will vary slightly. Those in morning kindergarten can sign up for afternoon baseball, while those who go to school in the afternoon can do baseball in the morning. Morning players will play games on either Thursday or Friday mornings while afternoon players will play their games on either Thursday or Friday afternoons.

The Rookie League is held three other times each year; indoors in April, outdoors in May/June and indoors in October.

Groups will be filled on a first come basis.

You will choose from the following practice times:

    Monday 9:00 AM        Monday 10:00 AM       Tuesday 9:00 AM        Tuesday 10:00 AM

    Monday 12:30 PM      Monday 1:30 PM         Tuesday 12:30 PM      Tuesday 1:30 PM

Features:

• Remember- Your practice time will remain the same for the four week period. Game times may vary.
• All players will receive a T-shirt and a hat.
• The ball will be pitched. No hitting off at tee
• The SSBC staff will include: Jason Trask and Jack Larkin

COST:$125 Per Player ($100 if any family member is current SSBC Member) MC and VISA accepted.
