Rookie Leagues 2012
Ready for Action
The SSBC’s Rookie League is designed for youngsters with little previous experience in organized athletics.
The SSBC staff of professional coaches emphasizes basics and fundamentals as well as safety and sportsmanship.
Each youngster receives two hours of instruction each week, with a one-hour weekday practice and a one-hour Saturday game. Your practice time will stay the same while your game time will vary.
Who, When, & Where
The Rookie League is for boys and girls ages 5 to 7. It is held three times per year – indoors immedialtely following April school vacation, outdoors at Kress Field in late May and June and then outdoors again in September.
Spring 2012 Outdoor Rookie League
The Outdoor Spring Rookie League for the 2012 season will run from May 29th through June 23rd at KRESS FIELD in Hingham. Practice sessions will be offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 3:45 PM or 4:45 PM. Saturday gametimes will vary from week to week.
Features:
- Remember- Your practice time will remain the same for the four week period. Game times will vary.
- All players will receive a T-shirt and a hat.
- The ball will be pitched. No hitting off a tee
- The SSBC staff will include: Jason Trask and Jack Larkin
COST:$135 Per Player($100 if any family member is current SSBC Member) MC and VISA accepted.
