2008 Survivor Series
The 10th Annual Survivor Series Indoor Baseball Tournament for players 9-12 years old will be held again during the Christmas school break. Using Easton Incrediballs and the "Niles Rules of Indoor Play," the always popular tourney will feature it's usual combination of fun, competition and skill building.
Players may register as a group or as individuals and be placed on teams. Winning teams continue to play while losers move to the drill areas to await their next opportunity. The "extra inning" format keeps the pace fast and furious.
The four day event will take place on Saturday 12/27, Monday 12/29, Tuesday 12/30 and Wednesday 12/31 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
2007 Survivor Series Results

2007 Survivor Series Champion "Rapid Rocks"
The Rapid Rocks went 6-1-1 on the final day to claim the 2007 Survivor Series title. Trailing the first place Sewer Rats by a single point entering Monday's finale, The Rocks ran off five straight wins to take command as the veteran squad cruised to the title.
Captain Steve Burke (.529, 2 HR's, consistently solid defense) led a balanced attack that saw three other teammates match him with nine hits in seventeen at bats. Tommy Larason (.529, 3 HR's, 10 RBI), Chad Fahey (.529, 2 HR's, 5 RBI) and Drew Alexopoulos (.529) were steady forces throughout. Kyle Reardon (2 HR's, 8 RBI), Zack and Nick DelVecchio and Cole Roland all played significant parts in the championship. Kyle Lussier and Hunter Lessard were called up and played well on the final day.

2007Survivor Series Runners Up Sewer Rats
The Sewer Rats entered the final day with a slim lead by could not hold off the charge of the champions. Kyle Medici (.583) made a valiant run for the batting title before finishing second while Esteban Soto (.412, 2 HR's, 5 RBI) had a strong showing. Jeffrey Russell, Korey Medici, Mike Vegnani, Tom and Chris O'Brien, Tommy McBrien, Tommy Gillen and Chris Ferraro rounded out the strong second place finish.

The Tigers Finished Third.
The Tigers were strong offensively but yielded a league high run total leading to their third place finish. Captain Alex Kopacz (.533, 2 HR's, 7 RBI) was aided by batting champion Nathaniel Seltsam (.636), John Pereira (.545), Austin Beringer (.533, 3 HR's, 5 RBI) and Tyler Walsh (.467, 2 HR's, 6 RBI). Sam Fennelly, Gabe Soto, Ben Smith and Cam Walsh all battled hard.
Consistent defense along with a handful of web gems made Austin Beringer the league's Gold Glove Award winner.

The Sneaky Cheetahs
The Sneaky Cheetahs, the youngest team in the contest, battled hard throughout and got their fourth win of the week in the final game on Monday. Captain Elliott Hillstrand (.467, 3 HR's, 5 RBI) shared the homerun crown while Jack Rupprecht (.500) came on late but added a definite spark. Davis Cronin (.429), Mark McNiskin, Joe Dorgan, Matt Hilsinger, John Maher. Dan Cronin and Kylar Macarotti all showed flashes of brilliance as first year Survivor Series participants.
