SEADOGS TOP CONNECTICUT BOMBERS!

Kyle Silva had a two run single in the second and a two run triple in the fifth while tourney MVP Will Marcal allowed just six hits in a complete game win. The Dogs jumped out to a three run first and followed that up with two more in the second as they cruised to their second Select Six Championship. Ben Ruxin had a key two-out, two run single in the opening frame.

The Seadogs, which entered the final day as the #2 seed, advanced to the championship game by defeating the Brooklyn Bonnie Rockets 9-6 earlier in the day.

The young and scrappy Connecticut Bombers, which ended pool play as the #6 seed, knocked off the #3 seed New England Ruffnecks (7-3) and then the top seeded Long Island Titans (8-2) to advance to the championship game.
