"Seadogs"Select Six 2005
Kelvin Clark's two out, bases loaded single in the bottom of the seventh plated Chris Ramos with the winning run in a 6-5 win over the Team Connecticut Bombers, giving the East Cobb Astros their fourth championship in five years. East Cobb jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first with a two run single by Jason Heyward. TCB pitcher Eric Smith settled into a nice groove, keeping the Astro offense at bay until a Pierre LePage two run single tied it in the fifth.
Cody Johnson of East Cobb was named the tourney's MVP.
