"Seadogs"Select Six 2002

The Third Annual "Seadogs" Select Six Tournament will be held at Strong Field in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts July 3 through July 7, 2002. The expanded field will included the selected six along with the host SSBC 16-and-Under "Seadogs." Included among the six will be the 2001 defending champion East Cobb (GA) Astros. The rest of the field will feature the Connecticut Bombers, the Rochester (MI) Yankees, the Charleston (SC) Diamond Devils, the Long Island (NY) Tigers and the Maryland Orioles.

This promises, once again, to feature some of the finest 16-and-Under competition in the country. Coach Rick DelVecchio will bring his talented "Seadogs" squad, which finished 5th in the National Championships as 15's last year.
